These kitchen cloths, known as fukin in Japanese, are versatile dishcloths made from material originally used for mosquito nets. Although mosquito nets are no longer commonly used in Japan, the high-quality textile has been repurposed to create these fukin. Crafted from eight layers of 100% cotton, they are highly absorbent, and their open weave allows for quick drying. The cloths become softer with each use and wash—check out the photos to see the difference before and after just one wash!
