Shibanuma Yuzukatsuo - Artisanal Yuzu Ponzu Sauce

A refreshing yet deep flavor is the hallmark of this premium yuzu citrus juice ponzu sauce. Made by a 330 years-old, esteemed soy sauce producer in Ibaraki Prefecture, this ponzu is a wonderful marriage of unpasteurized pure soy sauce, brewed and aged in wooden barrels, and aromatic yuzu citrus sourced in the same prefecture.

It is also blended with vinegar and bonito to produce a perfect balance of sweetness, saltiness, sourness, and umami. Its refreshing citrus flavor and clean, yet profound soy sauce combine perfectly to accompany grilled fish, oyster, steak, barbecue, gyoza dumplings, and hot pot dishes like shabu shabu. It can be great for dressing cold dishes like carpaccio, salad, and cold tofu as well. You can also enjoy this premium ponzu with sashimi.
